Hi,
Could you suggest a Power Steering fluid which I can pick up from Wal-Mart / Target for my 2010 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Dextron VI or ATF may be used. Here is what the manual says.

Fluid Types - Genuine Nissan PSF or equivalent. Here is how you add and flush the system

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

2004 nissan maxima-having trouble turning steering wheel. I know its something to do with power steering, but what? Checked fluid, was dry and we filled it back up. Did not having fluid cause whole mechanism to stop functioning? And what parts would we need to get?

Of course it will stop it from working. The whole system works from oil pressure. You need to locate the leak and repair it, whatever it needs.
