My accord has a check engine light on and cut off on me once. I sought help from a mechanic friend and was told it was possibly the alternator a shorted wire or a blown fuse. Since I have changed my o2 sensor and the alternator. The battery was also fairly new. Since changing the alternator yesterday I jumped the battery which gave it life but the car turned of after a while of idling. I jumped it again today and it died while I was driving and then refused to turn on at all again after I took out the key. I wanted to know what my issue is?

Do you have a multi meter to do some testing? Also does the engine not turn over like a dead battery?
