Hi, I recently changed the radio in my mondeo mk3 facelift with auto climate control. The original radio was a blaupunt travelpilot ex and it was replaced with a kenwood ddx-4021bt. When the ignition is turned on the heater controls are blank and the blowers are on maximum, if I flick the lights on and off the controls go back to normal and the temperature can be altered and switched off and on. If the old radio is plugged back in it all works as normal. The heater panel also goes blank if nothing is connected to the quad lock. There are two wires on the quadlock that do not go to the new radio harness at pins 9 and 10 on the quadlock. I have looked on the ford wiki website and these are CAN + and CAN -. I know I have got to tell the car the old radio is still connected but do not know which direction to go, I have tried a 2k2 resistor across pins 9 and 10 but this did not work.

thanks in advance

Do you
have the same problem?
