2004 Chevrolet Cavalier rough idle hard brake pedal

Sometimes I have to give the car gas to start it. Then it surges like I'm revving it but I'm not. There is very little power when I drive it and it stalls a lot. Also the brake pedal is hard to press. AutoZone says its running rich.

I would check it over good for any vacuum leaks. The brake booster relies on vacuum for boost and it sounds like it's losing it somewhere.

I checked the line from the brake booster to the intake and the obvious ones from the diagram under the hood. Are there others I need to be looking for?

Vacuum leaks don't just happen at hoses. It can be leaking anywhere there is intake passages.
