I have just recently replaced my clutch in my 2003 passat. It had 115k on it when I replaced it. It has 121k now. I replaced cause it was slipping and the peddel was very high. My issue is the peddel still catches very high almost to the point where if I rest my foot on the clutch peddel it will disengage the clutch. But it does not slip by anymeans has a very strong grab, I can dump the clutch at 6krpms and it will just smoke the tires, plus I have 18" wheels. I have had it properly bled. I replaced all the clutch componets too.I am stuck between either the slave cylinder or the clutch master cylinder.I cant seem to find anyone else with the same issue.

If you drop the clutch at 6K it's going to spin wheels, drive the car normally and see what happens.
