Where the drive shaft goes into the rear end, there is a lot of play. Changed the oil in the rear end today and I see fine metal on the magnetic plug and the oil looks metallic. I suspect the bearing is worn and my question is, how difficult is the task. I live in south america and have always worked on my vehicles but finding the right parts down here can be a pain. It appears that I can unbolt the drive-line and then it looks like I could just take the bolts out of the cover and see the bearing and any other wear that might be present. Any suggestions?
