Do a wet and dry compression test, a dry test is just a normal comp test and a wet test is with a small amount of oil in the cylinders to seal the rings, if the wet readings are a fair bit higher then the dry readings you will have a ring problem.

How do i do compression test on my opel Astra classic cde 1.6 engine cause i can't remove the plugs one by one they have to be removed as a set?

Pull all the plugs and do a comp test one cyl at a time do you know how to do a comp test?
