IS THEIR ANY WAY TO REPAIR THE SHIFTER CABLE, WHERE IT HOOKS TO THE TRANSAXLE LEVER?

Dealer wants $210 for shifter cable. Isn't their some kind of replcement bushing/clip or whatever availble, the rubber boot is missing

Usually there are clips on the end that hold the outer piece in place. If those are broken then they can be replaced but the cable housing may have broke from one of these areas.
