I turned the car off and the speakers all popped like they got a power surge. When I went to start the car it would not start. I was parked on an incline with the nose lower than rear. I put jumper cables on it, and it starts immediately, so I know the battery isn't dead. It doesn't do this all the time, and it keeps getting progressively worse.

It sounds more like a bad battery loose corroded battery cables a weak alternator or a parastic draw on the battery.I would start by having the battery tested along with the alternator. Also make sure the battery cables are clean and tight no corroded battery terminals etc.
