I have a 2002 mitsubushi montero sport, and about a month ago while driving it suddenly shut down. When attempting to restart my car, it would barely even turn over. The following morning I returned to my car and it started right up, but would only drive about half a mile then shut down again. I've checked for leaks, checked all hoses, and fluids. I have my car serviced regularly, and recently had filters changed. It has a brand new alternator, radiator, and timiming belt.
Half a mile at a time over a week, I finally made it home with my vehicle. I've taken the (also brand new) thermostat out and my mitsi will drive about 2 miles before over heating. So aside from trying a different thermostat, what else do I need or should replace or check?
