Where is the fuel pressure regulator located at on the 2002 ford escort? I am going crazy looking for it. The car was running great stopped to get a cup of coffee, started it and it was dancing like a hula dancer and a really weird clanking noise. I changed the serapine belt, the timing belt, new fuel filter and the dancing has stopped but it will not stay started and it still clanks. If I floor it, it will stay started but as soon as you let off the gas it stalls and dies. Parts store has no idea, I live 1 hour from town and it is very difficult to get a straight answer Now they do sell the fuel pressure regulator so I know it must have one. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! I am disabled and no funds to put the car in a repair shop.
