How does the radiator system work? What would cause the car to dver heat 260* then in less than ten min. Be running at normal temp. Everything but the radiator & the waterpump have been replaced.

You may have damaged the motor by driving with it that hot. The head gaskets may have failed. It is a result of overheating not the cause
