I have a vauxhall Astra 2001 1.6 16v sxi When I start it up in the morning it's idling very high around 3000 rpm and their is a lot of white cloudy smoke coming from the exhaust. Their was a new catcylic converter fired about 1month ago. Any ideas?

Possible faulty IAC (idle air control) I would first run a scan as if this is the case you should get a fault code, start here.
