I don't understand what you mean by "any codes set'. What is a TPI sensor?

Scan for fault code in the ECU, often with these problems you will get a fault code set, TPI is the throttle position sensor at the throttle body.

I am not a mechanic. You are speaking in tongues to me. You'll have to dumb this down a little bit. Is the TPI hard to change out? Cost? Thanks.
