The motor that is In my 2001 Grand am I believe is a 2.4 liter twin cam, but it doesn't run. So I bought a 2.4 liter should that just fit right in no problems and it will be running again? Or will it be different.

I checked a salvage yards interchange guide and it shows that a 2.4L engine from GM vehicles from the followings years will work: 2000 thru 2002.

According to the interchange guide I read (online) it will not work. To be on the safe side check with a salvage yard in your area as well.
