2001 Nissan Pathfinder positive battery cable connector

I need to change from top post to side post but I'm not sure about the wire clip that is part of the positive

Not sure what you are referring to, but when changing a battery all existing cables must be re attached as they were, why do you need to change the post position anyway? can you post a pic of what you are doing?
