Power door lock only locks front doors; rear.
2001 MAZDA PROTEGE
Power door lock only locks front doors; rear doors don't lock but you can hear the motor, making a loud noise. What needs to be replaced?

Most probably the actuator (motor). The gears could have worn off. Remove the door panel and check for dislodged links first.
