I have a 2001 Lincoln LS 3.9 V8. It will turn over but will not start. The battery is brand new and so is the fuel filter. I can hear the fuel pump wind when the key is on. Ive gotten it to start twice but the engine knocks so I shut the car off. Ive had it since 84,000 miles (now has 130,000) and perform routine maintenance. I've had no problems accept I replaced two coil packs a while back. I ran OBDII but it wont give me numerical codes, it says OH C E EV something along those lines. I am stumpedany help is appreciated and I wont leave you hanging!

Are you getting oil pressure? If not, it will shut the engine down. You mentioned an engine knock. That is the first thing I would check.
