Here's how my story goes: Eagle F1 (junk) tires needed to be replaced on my 2001. Car drives straight, doesn't pull. Had new Conti Extremecontact DWS tires installed. As soon as I pulled out of the shop wheel shake & car pulling to the right over 40mph. I immediately go back, they re-balance & send me off. Same thing. I go get an alignment done, it's on spec. I go back to tire place, they rotate front to back, same thing. They replace all 4 tires with new ones. Same thing.
This morning I woke up & remembered that I told them to get rid of my wheel locks & replace with lug nuts the first time in. I check them, and they replaced the wheel locks - with lug nuts about twice as big as the oem lug nuts! So, I have 4 oem lug nuts on order. I'm praying this is the problem, because I'm at my wits end. Any thoughts on whether one lug nut being heavier than the others could cause wheel vibration & pulling?
