2001 FORD RANGER
My ranger is a 4.0 liter v6, for some reason the engine will not go over 3000 rpms, I put it in park push the gas pedal and it stops at 3000 rpms almost like its governed! Any suggestions!

It could be a couple things, mass air flow sensor, MAP sensor, TPS. Has the check engine light come on?
