steering wheel shakes at any speed, what could be the problem? im changing the subframe soon as it has rusted.

it could be wheel balance, snow/ice/dirt on wheel a front suspension problem or loose subframe.

replacing subframe next week, anything else to check?

nope what I replied covers about most of it maybe the rack and pinion for wear
