Blend door

Is there a pinpoint to see if I need a new controller or a blend door? When I bought the car the air conditioning did not work we thought it was the blend door, my car battery died and when we jumped started it my air conditioning started working but I no longer have heat. Before I rip my car apart to replace the blend door I want to make sure its not the controller that needs replacing.

Do you
have the same problem?

Hello,

Yes the blend door actuators go out all the time on that car. Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when doing the job.

Here is how to will be like for your car (below) I have included all of the blend door actuators in case anyone needs them.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken
