When I press on my brake pedal it sounds like a pop can is crushing and like air is being released? What does this indicate and how much will it cost to fix it.

The air release could deal with the power brake booster. Check that for leaks, As far as the noise, that is a tough one. Is the noise coming from the pedal itself?
