WHAT COULD CAUSE HUGE VIBRATIONS WHEN APPLYING THE BREAKS AND WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD?

Warped rotors. They need to be replaced and then be easy on the brakes. They warp from overheating and that is a driver issue.
