The warning indicator light for my taillights started coming on and going off. I have tail and brake lights. This has occurred 5-6 times the past 3 days. The last time the wawrning indicator light came on the Service Engine Soon light came on too. I hasnt gone out yet. Warning light is currently back off again. What should I do and could these two indicate a problem within the electrical system? Troubleshooting for dummies, please. URGENT. Driving me nuts!

By the way, did I mention I'm a female?
Seriously, now. Please help. Suggestions anyone?

Check the brown wire at the tail lamp connector, bypass if corroded/overheated from harness to ground bus at tail lamp assembly.
