At first my car had a problem with the alternator and I had it fixed. Then 2 or 3 months later its alternator over charged and I had to replace the alternator. As soon as I had it replaced the Rev Counter has not been working ever since.

What could be the problem or is the any specifi Relay that I must replace.

Seems like the overcharging has damaged some components. You would need to have the meter tested.
