I have a 2000 mazda 626 its a ES v6 standard transmission. It runs really high rpms. At the speed of 60 im already at 3000 rpms and it keeps climbing up from there. It does not go down it just runs really high. I'm affraid to drive it on a long drive because at 70 mph its at 4000 rpms. That cant be normal. RIGHT?

No, that doesn't sound right. Could the clutch be slipping?
