The heat in this vehicle is very slight and the blower motor runs normal but doesnt seem to push enough air through does this sound like a clogged heater core or just bad vent flaps

A clogged heater core won't have anything to do with the blower motor. Check to make sure the blend air door is operating properly as well as directional vent doors.
