P1768 code

P1768 is for an automatic transmission trouble code, A/T clutch control Solenoid Valve A.

You mentioned it is a manual, in this case, the engine computer has been rreplaced with one that is for an automatic and deleting the trouble code would not work. You need to get the corect engine computer, for a manual transmission.

Alright the translation is just not happening here not really sure what you were trying to drescribe there. To diagnose that code and your issue you would need to follow the trouble tree. Do you want the trouble tree to follow?

All kinds of issues thats why you have to follow the trouble to figure out your problem.I cant give you a magic answer you have to diagnose it.

No matter how much detail you give even if I was there to drive and see the car I would still have to follow the touble to diagnose it. Please try to understand that otherwise were just guessing.

Eliseo2005, P1768 is a fault with the automatic transmission clutch pressure control valve circuit A circuit but it is for yesr model 2001 to 2003. Maybe you have the year model wrong.

The diagram shows the part that is causing the problem. Check the wire connectors for contaminations etc. Ensure they are clean and tight.

CIRCUIT (2001-03 MODELS)

NOTE : This code is caused by an electrical circuit problem and
cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.

1. Disconnect A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A connector (2P).

2. Measure A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A resistance at the solenoid valve connector.

Is the resistance 3-10??
YES - Go to step 3.

NO - Replace the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A and B.

3. Disconnect PCM connectors B (24P) and C (22P).

4. Check for continuity between PCM connector terminal B7 and body ground, and between terminal C1 and body ground.

Is there continuity?

YES - Repair short to ground in the wires between PCM connector terminals B7, C1, and the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A.

NO - Go to step 5.

5. Connect A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A connector.

6. Measure the resistance between PCM connector terminals B7 and C1.

Is the resistance 3-10??

YES - Go to step 7.

NO - Repair loose terminal or open in the wires between PCM connector terminals B7 and C1, and the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A.

7. Disconnect PCM connector A (31P).

8. Check for continuity between PCM connector terminal A23 and body ground, and between terminal A24 and body ground.

Is there continuity?

YES - Check for loose terminal fit, and repair if necessary. Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.

NO - Repair open in the wire between PCM connector terminals A23, A24, and ground (G101), or repair poor ground (G101).

Khlow2008 I tried to offer him the trouble tree like you posted so he could diagnose his problem more then once. He kept coming back with basicialy tell me what to replace. So I wasnt going to waste my time posting all that info if he didnt tell me he wanted it. Especailly after asking more then once. Thanks for posting it though I dont know that he will use it but atleast its there.
