When it is cold outside my brake lights will not.

When it is cold outside my brake lights will not come on for 15-30 minutes depending on how cold it is outside. I have had the pedel switch checked and jiggled the turn signals and hazard switch to make sure issue is not there. Every mechanic thinks I am crazy when I tell them that when the interior of the car gets warm the brake lights work. When the heater of the car goes from blowing cold air to so hot you can' t bear it the brake lights seem to work. What sensor, switch, relay or issue needs to warm up to work. All brake lights are out until this happens. Turn signals, reverese and tail lights work

I would say the switch is bad at the brake pedal. Have it checked to confirm when the issue occurs
