2000 Ford Ranger XLT Power door locks work intermittently. Replaced batteries in remotes with no success. Replaced driver's side actuator and it corrected the problem for a few times. Now, neither side works (with remote or door switch). You can hear the actuator click and the door lock moves slightly.

Check grounds and check the wiring between the door and the door frame for breaks in the wiring. You may not be getting enough power to the actuators.
