2000 Ford Ranger Camshaft timing sensor

I had to overhaul my engine after overheating and cracking both heads. I can't figure out how to position the timimg of the camshaft sensor. Thanks.

Yes thay will swap but ya better have and alignmet tool ta get it in proper time and hope that the motor has a top dead center mark. I just experenced a 3.8 in a windstar and it got no mark. Figured out on it to remove balancer bolt and aim it due north and set it in place. Hope this will help yall. TO CALIBRATE ONCE LOSSEN BOLT AND START ENGINE, SOMETIMES JUMPS INTO PLACE this is off our tips page.
