My 2000 ford f150 keeps blowing the 15amp fuse under the hood that has something to do with the fule pump and transmission. Where do I start to look for the problem?

A quick trick is to use a pair of clip leads, plug-in terminals, and a 12 volt light bulb to replace the blown fuse. A brake light bulb works nicely. The bulb will be full brightness when the short is present. As you unplug things or move wire harnesses around, the bulb will get dim or go out when you do something to remove the short from the circuit.
