2000 SILVERADO A/C BLOWS COLD AIR FOR ABOUT 10 MILES THE STARTS BLOWING WARM AIR. AFTER ABOUT ANOTHER 10 MILES IT STARTS BLOWING COLD AIR AGAIN. THIS REPEATS SEVERAL TIMES. YOU CAN ALSO CUT THE ENGINE OFF AND WAIT A FEW MINUTES AND STRAT BACK UP AND ITS FINE FOR ANOTHER 10 MILES.

Check to see if ac compressor underhood is cutting on and off? Any applicable codes. You may have to check manufacturer specific codes as well as generic.

It is possible you have a problem with hvac module? I did see a service bulletin that talked about hvac modes and temp control, possibly intermittent. It said to replace hvac control module. From here, I can't be positive that replacing that module will fix anything?
