I have a 2000 Chevy MonteCarlo V-6. About 2 months ago I replaced the catalitic converter and everything was fine. The other day while driving at highway speed the engine backfired and blew a hole in the noise suppresor. I was able to make it home but now it won't start. It tries but just keeps backfiring and won't run. What could be causing this?
have the same problem?
