I have a 2000 chevy cavalier Z24, I changed the oil and filter on it. I have removed the low oil pressure sensor and replace it with a gauge a couple of years ago, recently my oil pressure has been reading just over and around 10 psi. I'm not a mechanic but I know this is very low, just wondering if it is the oil pump, oil sender switch, engine wear? There is no knocking and oil is top off. Yes the engine has more pressure when it is cold and then rapidly declines as it gets warmer, the pressure barely rises when the throttle is pushed after it is warm. This problem started about 2-3 days ago, I'm a little weary about driving it because even though it has pressure, I'm afraid it's going to do some serious damage.

Do you
have the same problem?
