2000 Lesabre custom, sat for several years with out a battery. Put new battery in and everything else works except the heater controls. No heat comes through. Can't find any sign of mice. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery after 5 min, then pressing each button waiting 2 min. In between. They all changed over like they should and the air came out only where it should. But when I pressed the defroster button it stops changing and stays on defrost. If you unplug the control from the dash and reinstall it, you can then change from vent to heat to blend and any combination as long as you don't press defrost. But still no heat and once you push defrost it stops changing again. All the "doors" I believe are opening and shutting like they should because the air only comes out where it should until you press defrost, then it will only come out the defrost no matter what you do. How do I recalibrate the heater control to work properly and get heat! Or is there another problem? Thanks, Dave
