I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It is running very badly. At times it runs fine but others will barely stay running. I just had the code read at Autozone and it said the Up stream oxygen sensor and miss in cylinders 2 and 3. My question is can a bad oxygen sensor actually make the car run this badly. Do you think replacing it will take care of things?

We would need those to tell you anything. There are at least a dozen different codes referring to 0/2 sensors and it's rarely the sensor itself at fault.

I doubt those numbers are correct since they have conflicting meanings. It's very important to get those right.

I advised you that I can't tell you anything without accurate information and even then it's going to require some tools and testing.
