My 1999 Protege heat comes up to temp at idle, although, when driving it drops to cold and there is a loss of heat; I have changed the thermostat with no better results. Should I change the water pump? It is not overheating although, the problem first started after getting stuck on a muddy road and having to rock it back and forth to get out. It worked fine until that point, help it's -25!
