While driving down the highway my vehicle shut off completely (power steering, electrical, everything). After putting into park, I was able to restart my truck and limp it home. However, it was making a loud knocking noise like a belt running around and hitting the hood or something. Thought maybe it was the timing chain but both gears were nearly dead on. The chain was looser than it should be but ultimately, I don't think that's my problem. Any other alternatives? I think the issue happened when I was over accelerating on the on ramp entering the highway trying to pass a semi.
