turn signal blinks fast

The Left turn signal blinks faster than normal, what could be the cause?

One of the turn signal bulbs is burned out and requires replacement. I would consider replacement of any bulb that is old, or dark/silvered as a precautionary action, consider it cheap insurance so you can be seen.
