The wires end to end from the sensor to the pcm and see which wire it is. Use low scale resistance setting on your meter.

Okay I found both wires at sensor plug were bare in same spot next to each other, I made new plug retested and everything is normal for ckp, the code lite went out for ckp and I took it for ride and reset cmp waited to see if ceck eng. Lite to come on and it did, its now reading the po505 code, idle is surging from 1200rpm to 2oo2 after warm up.

Iam sure you dont have a scan tool to see iac duty so I would leave that sure around.I posted a pic of the idle air control valve so I would start by removing it and cleaning it. Also clean the ports etc.

Okay I just did a resistance on valve and it is 11 being in spec, I read voltage with key on, on the plug and it is only getting 10- 11 volts. I cleaned the valve and run a fused wire from battery to test valve and it opened and I could blow freely through it, does this mean Im not getting proper volts from pcm?
