I have a 98 subaru legacy gt that is misfiring on cylinder 4. Does not occur right away only after it is warmed after about 15 minutes of driving. It is very noticable. Car is extremly sluggish and finally seems to make power at higher rpms. Right away car is fast (not that fast) and then it hits a brick wall. It seems as if once the car goes into closed loop that one of the sensors isnt playing nice with the others. New parts: spark plugs and wires from napa, coil pack orileys, air filter. History and other problems: was told head gasket was replaced, cylinder 3 had a fouled spark plug, noticed number three injector wasnt even plugged in, tps sensor was barely hanging on half way plugged in, car gets hot but no heat. The code gets set every time the car gets driven. Im a pretty good mechanic but inexpericed with the 2.5 engine. Any help would be appreciated. I have access to multimeters and scan tools and a wide open mind to any ideas that you might send my way. Thanks in advance.
