I SHORTED MY ALTERNATOR WIRES WHILE CHANGING THE ALTERNATOR. THE LITTLE SNAP PLUG WITH THREE WIRES WERE FRAYED AND GROUNED TO ALT. BRACKET. BATTERY WAS CONNECTED. I CHECKED FUSE AND RELAY GOOD. CAR WILL NOT START. HEADLAMPS WORK. DIGITAL DASH DOES NOT LIGHT UP WHEN KEY IS IN ON POSITION.

Check your fuses with a test light. You have one blown. Check under the hood box as well as the one under the drivers side as well.
