Adjusting the idle speed should have been the first option when it is not running correctly. It is only when you can't get it adjusted that you need to check for others. If it works, forget about the rest.

Did you TEST for vacuum leaks? You mentioned none note, how was it done?
When the tensioner problem occurred, what was done for the repairs?
Did you recheck the timing belt installation?
This is an inteference engine and I would like to know the specific compression for each cylinder. You take the reading with all spark plugs removed, throttle fully opened and after at least 5 compression stroke of the engine.
