1998 Isuzu Rodeo connecting rod bearing replacement

How. Do I access the connecting rods from the bottom of the engine? It is a.2.2L I4. I. Have removed the oil pan, but I don't see how to get to the connecting rods. There seems to be another section bolted between the. Block and the oil pan. I have removed the bolts from this section but it doesn't seem to move.

Our tips page says you have to take the engine out of truck
