Hi I have a v6 vectra that was over heading after buying it from the dealer up on inspection found that the thermo fans werent wired in so they repaired it under warrenty and told me car would not over heat but every time I turn the heater or the ac on the car over heats and loosing coolant would this be due to either the heater matrix or the heater tap valve being damaged

If the heater core leaks, you will loose coolant and run rhe risk of over heating, theyu should do a cooling system pressure test to see if the heatre core is suspect in any way, if it leaks, this should be a warranty claim, get this chjecked ASAP.
