I HAVE A 98 FORD RANGER V6 3.0

Hi I have a 98 ford ranger V6 3.0 2wd and I have a misfire in cylinder for the truck runs really rough. I tried wires plugs premium fuel and HEET for mostiure. What should I do to narrow the problem down. Please help asap.

Check the codes for cylinder specific code, also with the engine idleing try unpluging the fuel injectors on at a time and the one that makes the least amount or no amount of difference is where the problem is. Once you find the problem cylinder/s the you have to test to see what you are missing, spark, fuel, compression.
