1998 Ford F-150 Will not start when hot

The eng will turn over just fine, sounds like it wants to start. When you let it set and cool down then it will start? Looks like you need more information, the truck runs great most of the time. This will happen about 3 time a year.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure first

No codes, and the pressure is OK. Will not start when hot, let it cool down and it will start.

Fuel fillter replaced / both of them

Fuel pressure should be 35-45 psi with key on engine off and when key shut off should hold for at least 5 minutes. If pressure is within that range check crank and cam sensors for resistance also check wiring at connector it may be bad

My did the same thing it was the neutral safty switch the rubber on the plug to seal the plug was making contact with the prongs
