I was told that the A/C worked when I bought the 1998 dodge ram 1500 slt truck. I charged the A/C, and it sucked it in. It blew cool for a few, but I didn't hear the clutch fan working. It has 2 ports to put the Freon in, and I just had the radiator replaced in January. One of the metal hoses that runs to the condenser has a large metal patch, almost like tin foil but much stronger. I don't know if it could just be a fuse that is making the A/C clutch not to work, or if the clutch is bad itself, or if that patch is leaking. Please help, as it is very hot and humid and I was so looking forward to having A/C in my truck. I can't afford to much, I am disabled and on a fixed income.
